Blockchain for crm


Salesforce has announced the launch of a blockchain product. It is a low-code offer for CRM targeted at developers working on the Lightning platform. It should demonstrate in theory and practice how CRM can be extended to provide a secure distributed ledger to independently verify records and establish proper authentication channels. The base principles and advantages of blockchain technology for different spheres, including ...CRM, are described in Salesforce’s blog (). The company notes in its blog that combining blockchain technology with CRM systems offers businesses a way to significantly enhance existing workflows and build trusted partner networks. Blockchain can help to extend trust, transparency, and traceability in every customer interaction, as well as break down business boundaries and data silos. The product is available now to select design partners, and it will be rolled out generally in 2020. According to Salesforce’s research, 72% of customers believe blockchain will transform their expectations of companies (11% already transformed, 30% actively transforming, and 31% will transform within five years). Some other companies excluding cryptocurrency networks also try to implement blockchain technology. For example, IBM provides consumers with the transparent path of food in Walmart for safety reasons, which brings together growers, processors, distributors, and retailers.
